Mrs. Ferrell's Contact Information
Email: [email protected] (I check this often... even in the summer.)
Phone: (805) 596-4055 (email is my preferred method of communication. I will NOT be answering any messages over the summer. If it's urgent, email me. Sad fact: I didn't know I had voice mail for 3.5 years. Much safer to email.)
Office Hours: 3:15-4 every Tuesday and Thursday (Please let me know you are coming.)
Classroom Communication
Parent Square:
The district has decided to use parent square this year as a way for teachers and administrators to communicate with parents. It will not replace email, but will replace apps like Remind101. I will use it to send out reminders for tests, or homework changes. If you need to contact me, please continue to use email.

Google Classroom:
What is it? Google Classroom is designed to help teachers create and collect assignments paperlessly, including time-saving features like the ability to automatically make a copy of a Google Document for each student. It also creates Drive folders for each assignment and for each student to help keep everyone organized. Students can keep track of what’s due on the Assignments page and begin working with just a click. Teachers can quickly see who has or hasn't completed the work, and provide direct, real-time feedback and grades right in Classroom.
How do I join a class? Log into your student Google Account. You can either download the free Google Classroom App from the Google Store or search Google Classroom to find the website. In the upper right corner, you will see a small plus sign (+). Click on it, and select "join class." Enter the code for your period below:
